I was born on April 22, 1986. I grew up in a small town called Limerick in Pennsylvania and graduated Spring-Ford High School in 2004. In eleventh grade I entered the Delayed Entry Program in which I enlisted in the army and did training to help prepare me for my basic. On June 22, 2004 I swore in and officially was apart of the United States Army. From there I went to Fort Benning, Georgia for my basic training as an 11C in Delta 2-58 Infantry.

16 Weeks later I went overseas to Baumholder, Germany to become part of HHC 2-6 IN Mortar platoon. During my time there I did several field rotations and gunneries as the gunner of my squad. I also got a chance to go to Air Assault School in Shwineford, Germany. In November 2005 my unit cased it's colors and deployed to Iraq in which we secured parts of southern Baghdad from Camp Falcon. I was a gunner and a dismount when we conducted cordon and searches. I was awarded a ARCOM and a CIB for several enemy engagments. During the last few months of Iraq I was made a squad leader in my platoon.

Upon returning to Germany in November 2006 I continued to train my squad, now consisted of new recruits straight out of basic and taught them what we learned in our combat situations in Iraq. Soon I came down on PCS orders and now apart of 2-70th HHC. I’m a squad leader in our Mortar platoon and have become the 2-70th BN BOSS Representative, which have helped out on several events and trips within the Fort Riley BOSS program.

In July I was sent to IMLC in Fort Benning which took me days when I was still in Basic. During the course I learned how conduct fire missions and get data on targets and methods to engage them. Upon graduation and returning back to my platoon I was shifted over to FDC (Fire Direction Control) and should be on the computer to set up fire missions for our up coming feild training..
